La Asociación BelBrand anuncia que en el Año de la Pequeña Patria se celebrará un concurso/una investigación "ECOBRAND (en nominaciones)"

The individual entrepreneurship, small and mediumsized businesses that operate in small towns and villages of the Republic of Belarus are notable for using cultural traditions and opportunities of the country's natural potentials as the basis for creating goods and services they offer to customers.

Ecotourism in agromansions, events held in the national cultural style, exhibitions and fairs of works by artisans, sale of products made by using local recipes, design of eco-trails and eco-routes, creation of mobile gardens, parks, nurseries and eco-landscapes make it possible to demonstrate the enormous capacities of small towns and villages, and individual estates for the popularization of the country's cultural and ecological potentials, organization of eco-leisure not only for foreign tourists, but also for the local population.

At the same time, there is currently no objective assessment of the services and products offered by individual entrepreneurs, craftsmen, small and mediumsized businesses in the sphere of local eco-infrastructure. At best, a potential consumer of eco-products and eco-services is guided by the opinions and comments posted on websites and in social accounts, as well as by his/her own emotional expectations based on the knowledge of the history and ecology of a particular region of Bela-rus. The "BelBrand" Association is hereby inviting official partners for organizing and holding the annual contest "EcoBrand", and expert members of the working group – for drafting criteria for assessing eco-services and eco-products, offered by individual entrepreneurs, artisans, small and mediumsized businesses in the Republic of Belarus.

The first event in the process of preparing the con-test-research "EcoBrand" was the participation of the "BelBrand" Association as a coorganizer of the Fifth International Landscape Forum, held on March 3-4 by the Association of Landscape Industry Experts. The Forum was attended by Tatiana Yakubovich, Igor Komarovsky and Oksana Gaiduk, MPs of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus.
