Un seminario sobre los resultados de un estudio sociológico de la actitud de la población ante los productos falsificados y el comercio ilegal se llevó a cabo en un complejo del Castillo Mir

On February 28, within the framework of the "BelBrand" Association's project "Legal Trade – Safe World" and the Third Week of Belarusian Entrepreneurship, a seminar was held on the outcomes of the sociological study that examined the attitude of the population to counterfeit products and illegal trade.

Experts in the sphere of intellectual property protection and MPs of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus discussed with the participants of the seminar the role of the right holder in protecting the right to a trademark, the need to respect author's rights, including when working with materials from the Internet.

The topicality of working with the population to counteract illegal trade and spread of counterfeit products was especially emphasized.

The speakers at the seminar were:

Valentina Dynich, a Deputy Chair and the Head of the Department of Innovative Projects of the "BelBrand" Association;

Tatiana Yakubovich, a Deputy Chair of the Standing Commission for Education, Sciences and Cul-ture of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus;

Igor Komarovsky, a Deputy Chair of the Standing Commission on Industry, Fuel and Energy Complex, Transports and Communications of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus;

Valentin Rachkovsky, a patent attorney of the Republic of Belarus and the managing partner of the LLC "BelBrand Consult";

Denis Nedvetsky, a patent attorney of the Republic of Belarus and the managing director of the ALC "Goryachko, Nedvetsky and Partners".

After the seminar, the awarding ceremony of the leading en-terprises was held, whose products, according to the republican study "Youth Brand-2017", are the most popular among the country's young people.
